Shaabi is similar to balladi – the dance of the street. He is earthy and lively and cheerful. His moves are natural, easy, playful. Since it is the dance of the people ( shaab ), it is free in its form and unsophisticated in expression . And makes fun!

Shaabi ist ähnlich wie der Balladi – der Tanz der Strasse. Er ist sowohl erdig als auch lebhaft und fröhlich. Seine Moves sind natürlich, locker, spielerisch. Da es der Tanz vom Volk (shaab) ist, ist er frei in seiner Form und ungekünstelt im Ausdruck. Und macht Spass!
